Visual & Multimedia Concept
The production's screen world is conceived as a living, hand-drawn animated universe in a retro-illustration aesthetic — the LED wall becomes the emotional barometer of the narrative. Dreyden's video score (developed scene-by-scene across the full show) is built from "Living Interiors" — animated environments breathing behind the performers, constructed on the depth-and-perspective illusion principles of the Renaissance masters; "Fantasy Tableaux" — full-screen imaginative sequences; and "State Morphs" — seamless transitions between emotional states of the same space. The content is engineered for live theatrical playback, with the video layer cued to the musical structure of each number.
Impact
Ahead of the premiere, the production drew national media attention: music press covered it as international news — thirty years after becoming a television phenomenon, Chiquititas returns in a new and unexpected Israeli stage version, with all the beloved songs performed in Israel for the first time.
